A browser-based matrix calculator that shows full step-by-step solutions — open index.html and go. No build step, no dependencies, works offline from a local copy.

README.md
$cat overview.txt
Add and multiply matrices, take the transpose, and compute determinants and inverses — each one shown with the intermediate working the way you would do it on paper, not just the final number.
$cat run.txt
Zero setup: open index.html in any browser, or main.htm — the legacy entry file kept for compatibility. Everything (logic, styling, UI) lives in that single file, so a local copy works with no server.
$cat deploy.txt
The repo ships a vercel.json for static hosting: cleanUrls, a catch-all rewrite to index.html, nosniff and strict referrer headers. MIT licensed.

#a2f6c31feat/ops

Core matrix operations

JavaScript · client-side computation
  • Addition, scalar multiplication, matrix multiplication and transpose over user-entered matrices.
  • All computation runs client-side — no backend, no round trip, instant feedback.
#71ce09bfeat/solver

Determinant & inverse with steps

step renderer · linear algebra
  • Determinant and inverse are rendered as worked steps, not just a final value — the point of the tool is showing the method.
  • The step output is what makes it useful for coursework and checking hand working.
#d04b8f5build/static

Single-file static site

vercel.json · clean URLs · MIT
  • Everything lives in index.html (~68 KB), so it opens straight from disk with no build step; main.htm stays as a legacy entry.
  • vercel.json enables clean URLs, a catch-all rewrite and security headers for static hosting.
  • MIT licensed.
